Instagram Password Hacking

First of all lets have a clear understanding of Bruteforce attack.

A brute force attack is a method used by cybercriminals to gain unauthorized access to a system or account by guessing a password.

It involves trying every possible combination of characters until the correct password is found.

This method can be time-consuming and resource-intensive, but it can be successful against weak or poorly secured passwords.

To protect against brute force attacks, using strong passwords, enabling two-factor authentication, and implementing other security measures, such as rate limiting and account lockout mechanisms is recommended.

Instagram contained two distinct vulnerabilities that allowed an attacker to brute-force passwords of user accounts. Combined with user enumeration, a weak password policy no 2FA or other mitigating security controls, this could have allowed an attacker to compromise many accounts without user interaction, including high-profile ones.

For this Bruteforce attack on Instagram, I developed a tool called Bruteinsta. This tool contains 43k different passwords and if you want you can make a new password list and brute-forcing Insta using my tool

Steps to install and usage of Bruteinsta:

apt-get install tor

git clone:https://github.com/iamwithyou11/Bruteinsta

tor (run this tor service in another terminal)

chmod +x insta.sh

enter username and add the password list

Note: This tool works only for accounts with no 2FA

Installation

Step 1: Open your kali linux operating system and use the following command to install the tool.

git clone https://github.com/thelinuxchoice/inshackle

Step 2: Now use the following command to move into the directory of the tool.

cd inshackle

Step 3: Now use the following command to run the tool.

bash inshackle.sh

The tool has been downloaded and running successfully. Now we will see examples to use the tool.

Usage

Example 1: Use the Inshackle tool to increase followers.

choose option 2

Now login with your username and password.

The tool has started increasing followers.
